Workplace Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Workplace Engineer at danad, you are responsible for designing, implementing and operating modern digital workplaces based on Microsoft 365. You ensure our clients can work productively, securely and efficiently – whether in the office, at home or on the go, on both Windows and macOS devices. You leverage Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access and the full Microsoft 365 Security Suite to centrally manage and secure endpoints and identities. Additionally, you plan and operate virtual desktop infrastructures with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365.

What you'll do

• Designing and implementing modern workplace solutions based on Microsoft 365
• Managing and configuring Windows and macOS endpoints via Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, compliance policies, app deployment)
• Planning, provisioning and operating Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 Cloud PCs
• Setting up and managing Entra ID, Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication
• Implementing Microsoft 365 security solutions (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Purview)
• Rolling out and supporting Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online
• Creating and maintaining security policies and compliance configurations
• Advising and training clients on the adoption and usage of Microsoft 365
• Troubleshooting and 2nd/3rd level support in the modern workplace environment

What we're looking for

• Completed IT training or degree
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Intune / Endpoint Manager
• Knowledge of managing Windows and macOS devices via Intune
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and/or Windows 365
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access and identity management
• Understanding of endpoint security and Microsoft Defender Suite
• Experience with Windows Autopilot and device lifecycle management
• PowerShell skills for automation and scripting
• Microsoft certifications are a plus (MS-102, SC-300, MD-102)
• Excellent German language skills, English is a plus
