As a Cloud Engineer at danad, you are responsible for planning, implementing and optimizing enterprise cloud infrastructures on Microsoft Azure. You accompany our customers from the initial analysis and inventory through architecture planning and migration to ongoing operations. You design scalable, secure and cost-efficient architectures that meet the demands of modern enterprises. You work with both traditional on-premise environments and hybrid or cloud-native setups, actively contributing your expertise to client projects.
What you'll do
Designing and implementing Azure cloud architectures for SME and enterprise customers
Planning and executing cloud migrations (on-premise to Azure) including hybrid scenarios
Building and managing Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform or Bicep
Designing and implementing network, identity and security architectures (Azure Virtual Network, Entra ID, Conditional Access)
Implementing Microsoft 365 solutions, Exchange Online and hybrid setups
Operating and optimizing Azure environments including performance monitoring, cost optimization and troubleshooting
Advising and technically supporting clients on architecture decisions and best practices
Creating technical documentation, runbooks and operations manuals
What we're looking for
Several years of experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructures
Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates)
Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, network design and security concepts
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid environments
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Microsoft certifications are a plus (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-700)
Fluent German and good English language skills
